Description: This exhibit shows the history and development of the postmarks of Kaunas post offices in the period of Russian Empire and the First World War. The postmarks were used from pre-stamp period since the year 1915 aiming to cover the activity of Kaunas post offices during this period. The exhibit consists of service, registered, standard mail letters, printed matter, post cards, money orders and other material used in postal activity.
