Description:

Lithuanian post has issued definitive “Sower” issue of 15 stamps during May, 1921 – June 1922. The collection provides a detailed overview of 50 skatikai (Mi.92) prints, cliché variants, and their use for postal purposes. There is no information in the literature about the dates of issue of individual stamps, so the author of the exhibition had to search for the dates of issue based on the date stamps used on the stamps. A section of a Specialised Postage Stamp Catalogue 1918-2024 was prepared based on this exhibit.
