South America: First Souvenir Sheets and Sheetlets
Five Frame Exhibit
Description:
South American countries have issued souvenir sheets and stamps in sheetlets, typically containing no more than 10 stamps. The collection includes the first issues of each country, with stamps until around 1960 predominantly featuring national themes, adding an intriguing historical aspect. Postage stamps specifically for philatelists became more widely issued a little later.
